Welcome Artists!
This year's theme is "Nightmares and Fantasies "Welcome to the second annual Canadian Bodypainting Championships™, featuring a full day of competition.
Artists will be painting models in a public access venue. The competition painting time is 6 hours and artwork will be judged by a professional jury. The models will then be presented to photographers and followed by the audience on the main stage. During the evening the audience will have an opportunity to be photographed with the models. There will be live stage performances and the evening will commence with a live dance band.
There is a $100 deposit which will be refunded with artist upon arrival and registration. Both artist and model will be required to fill out the appropriate release forms prior to competition.
With notice models can be arranged for those artists that are unable to provide their own.
*It is important for artist and model to understand - as we believe it's a team effort and performance art, part of the judging criteria is based on Model Presentation on the main stage. So, once the artist has done their best work it's time for the model to do their best presentation.
